CHC50113 Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care

To complete CHC50113 Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care, students need to complete 28 units of competency consisting of 23 core units and 5 elective units. Students may apply for exemption for any unit in which they can successfully demonstrate competency.  Please refer to RPL policy and procedures on  www.wstc.edu.au website.

Note: Students will complete HLTAID004 with H and A Training (RTO91798) with WSTC preferred supplier or with other accredited RTO

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment
  • Have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Able to provide a Police check with no disclosure
  • Able to provide a Working with Children check
  • Able to complete a First Aid Course (HLTAID004 Provide an
    Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
    before the students commence the required work placement).
  • Able to complete 350 hours of work placement
  • Have access to a computer with an internet connection
